Network Marketing, which is also known as Multi Level Marketing (MLM), is actually a good business. The market for this business is very huge and the prospect is good. However, we should know that not all MLM companies will be successful.

Normally, a company, which is said to be a scam, will not be in the business for more than 5 years. Companies, which are not a scam are usually members of the Better Business Bureau and US Chambers.

2) Is there a mentor? - Most of the companies do not offer mentors on how to do the business. Mainly they just tell the company's profile to its members and the level of commission the members will be able to earn. The mentor is the one who plays the important role in guiding the people who are new to Internet Business. The mentor will be able to guide the people on how to do the business properly, where to promote the business and how to take profit from the Internet. Hence, always see if the company provides you with a mentor who can guide you along the way.

3) Team Support - Support from the team plays a significant role in a MLM business. If members can support each other by sharing the techniques they use to get the leads and so on, then, the business can last longer.

4) Be Consistent and Put in Hard Work - When I say that you need to put in hard work, you do not need to work like 8 to 9 hours a day. You just have to work at least 2 to 3 hours a day. If you have a full time job, then, consider this job as your overtime. You have to be consistent in this business. You need to know that this business is not a get-rich-quick scheme. Therefore, you need to be positive and do it consistently.
